Headcount Solutions has an immediate requirement for a Quality Vendor Engineer for a clients Medical Device manufacturing facility.

With a minimum 5-7 years experience, the Quality Vendor Engineer will support the validation of raw materials from a cost saving or business continuity perspective and transfer to the lines on the customer site.
The successful candidate will possess experience in dealing with the transfer of new raw materials onto the site.

Principal Responsibilities:

• Preparation of validation protocols to support the qualification of alternative suppliers for various projects from a business continuity perspective and cost savings reasons.
• Execution of the risk assessments with the identified vendors to enable qualification of activities proceed.
• Preparation and execution of validation activities of the new raw materials onsite.
• Preparation of gap assessments of all suppliers to identify trending issues.
• Co-ordinate pFMEA’s
• Work with external vendors to ensure raw material specifications adhere to Vistakon specifications.
• Ensure quality systems adhered to on vendor sites
• Carry out characterisation studies on the line in conjunction with corporate resources
• Work with operations to ensure down time on the line kept to a minimum
• Work with QC to plan all testing
